My Go-To Makeup Products

Warning: I am in no way a professional or even very good at makeup! I'm just sharing what I've found I like as a gal who didn't know much about makeup and isn't willing to drop hundreds of dollars on expensive makeup. I'll include what I use daily, for nicer events, and products that I've used in the past!

Face

Makeup Primer

Arbonne Makeup Primer: I put this on after washing my face and applying lotion! It makes your skin smooth giving fresh a base to put your foundation on. Click here for the product!

Foundation

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear: This is the newest foundation I've tried. I used to always wear Clinique which I'll include also. I love Lancôme foundation now! It feels so smooth and my face doesn't feel gross at the end of the day. I don't use this everyday because I try to go without or a lighter foundation on most days. When I am looking nice or have something going on this is my go-to foundation. Click here for the product!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream: This is the go-to "foundation" I wear on days I just want to blend my face and cover a bit up. It doesn't have much coverage so it is what I wear day to day when I just want a little something! Click here for the product!

Clinique Even Better Foundation: This is the foundation I used for years and my mom has always used! It's a great foundation and I still have some left that I use occasionally. The reason I switched was because I have to have multiple different shades since my skin changes so much through the year and was out of my pale shade. I decided I wanted to try a different brand and a foundation with more coverage. Click here for the product!

Bronzer/Highlighter

Arbonne Sheer Glow Highlighter Stick: I have never had a highlighter palette due to not having much in-depth knowledge of makeup. I bought a highlighter stick from a drug store one day just to see and used that until I bought this. The Sheer Glow Highlighter Stick has highlighter on one end and bronzer on the other. This is very simple to apply and I just blend it with a brush afterwards. Click here for the product!

Stila Stay All Day Bronzer: After applying the previous items to my face I take a loose brush and apply the bronzer lightly on my face. This takes any redness away and gives me a bit of a glow! The makeup artist at Ultra showed me this! Click here for the product!

Blush

I personally don't use blush much but on occassions I am doing full makeup to look nice. I have a few but don't feel one is better than the other. Click here for E.L.F. blush. Click here for Clinique blush.

Setting Spray

NYX Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray: Setting spray is nice to have when you're going to be wearing makeup all day or going places you might sweat. It helps your makeup from running. I put this on after I do my eye shadow but before I do my mascara! Click here for the product!

Eyes

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer: I put this under my eyes and it is a God send! It covers up the dark bags under my eyes that I constantly have. I use it most days! Click here for the product!

Eyebrows

L'Oreal Brow Stylist: I use this to brush and fill in my eyebrows. I don't fill my eyebrows in much just right in the inside ends mostly to even them out. For the most part I end up using this to brush my eyebrows. Click here for the product!

Lancôme Sourcils Styler: I use this after brushing my eyebrows! It's a liquid and just gives my eyebrows a bit more color. Again I don't fill in my brows much so both these products give me a healthy color without looking overdone! Click here for the product!

Eye Shadow

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette: This is my go-to eye shadow palette! I bought it 3 years ago and it still has plenty of life left. It has all neutral colors which I prefer. Click here for the product!

PUR Be Your Selfie Eyeshadow Palette: This is a fun palette I have that has colors in it which I like to use on more special occasions. I never do very out there makeup so unless the colors blend with my outfit I'm unlikely to use the palette. This one has pinks and purples which I personally wear more. Click here for the product!

Eyeliner

I rarely wear eyeliner so I am going to link the few I do have. My most worn is a nude eyeliner that I put on my waterline to lighten up my eyes and make them look bigger. I just bought it at the local drugstore! Click here for the product! The black non-liquid eyeliner I have is linked here! The liquid eyeliner I have is linked here! Again, I don't wear eyeliner much so these are all drugstore eyeliners!

Mascara

L'Oreal® Paris Voluminous Primer: This is a primer I put on my eyelashes before my mascara! I have noticed a major difference in my mascara and eyelashes looking better since I have used this. Click here for the product!

L'Oreal® Paris Voluminous Original Mascara: This is my base mascara. I put it on once, sometimes two coats if I feel need be. It is a drugstore mascara but I find it works just as good as the expensive mascaras. Click here for the product!

Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara: I put this mascara on last after the mascara I listed above has dried. It is a very thin 'brush' so it gets rids of the clumps! Click here for the product!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara: I used to wear this as my go-to mascara. I love the product I just never bought it again when I ran out. I had been at school and needed a quick fix and that was when I got into my current products/routine. Click here for the product!

Others

Clinique 3 Step: I use the Liquid Face Soap, the purple Clarifying Lotion (which isn't lotion?), and the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. I do these after washing my face! Click here for the products!

Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover: I prefer using this to get the majority of my eye makeup off with a cotton pad. It feels smoother and doesn't feel like I am pulling at my eyes or rubbing too hard like with the makeup remover wipes. Click here for the product!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes: I use these before washing my face and after the eye makeup remover! Click here for the product!

I don't know much about makeup and don't use many fancy brands, I end up preferring the drugstore products! I'm not one to take advise from on how to do makeup but just thought I would share what products I've found I like that don't break my bank account too badly. Let me know your favorite products that I should try next!

xx, Taylor
