Happy Summer from Cinci!

It is officially summer and I am so happy!

As much as I love fall, the Christmas season, and spring... summer is by far my favorite season. This summer I am spending the whole season home in Cincinnati. I returned to my sales associate job at Lilly Pulitzer that I started back in August (2018). It's one of my favorite jobs because I love the bright colors, the brand, and everything it stands for. Since working there I have definitely grown my collection from a couple pieces to a whole rack... okay I should probably stop spending my paycheck at work but oh well!

Along with my job at Lilly, I am interning at Cincinnati Magazine! It has been a blast so far. Cincinnati Magazine is located in the Carew Tower in downtown Cincinnati. I'm a marketing intern where I am working on marketing and event planning. So far I have worked one event which was a Girls Night Out in Madeira and then am helping prepare a few more. Although I am not studying to go into event planning, I am excited to learn so many different things that I can use in my future. I am studying communications and marketing with a focus on social media. At the end of summer I will enter my senior year at Ohio University with only a few classes left to take! I'm excited for my senior year and to see what happens, fingers crossed because I am already stressing about post-graduation and finding a job! :)

Last summer I studied abroad in Florence, Italy for the first half and then was home for the second half. That was the best summer but I'm very grateful to be home with my family and favorite people for the whole summer this year. My mom and sister have been gone the last two weeks touring Spain, France, and Italy so I have gotten lots of awesome father, daughter time which of course means hitting up all the restaurants with steak specials but I won't complain! Once my mom and sister get home we are celebrating my sisters sixteenth birthday and the rest of summer. Otherwise I am having just a typical work and relaxing summer, nothing too interesting!
