Best friends are sometimes hard to find so I always want to remind mine how grateful I am for them and our friendship. I constantly reflect every evening and thank God for the amazing people I have in my life. I sometimes don't feel I show them enough or that I don't have the adequate resources to show them how much they mean to me. Do you ever want to show your friends love and appreciation, but are unsure how? Or you want to give them a random gift but don't want to spend a lot of money? I've got a few good ideas on things we can do for our friends and loved ones to simply show them how much they mean to us!

- ONE -

BRING THEM A TREAT TO WORK

Next time you have free time drop by your friends work! Bake some fresh cookies, buy a cupcake from a bakery, bring them their favorite Starbucks drink! These little, inexpensive items that they can enjoy while you stop by to say hi will make their day and let them know you were thinking of them. Can't make it by their work? Now-a-days we have apps like Venmo, PayPal, and Apple Pay where we can instantly send $5 with a little note saying to treat themselves!

- TWO -

WRITE THEM A HEARTFELT NOTE

There's few things sweeter than a hand written note from someone you care about. When I was younger my mom used to leaves notes in my lunch and my best friend once wrote me a series of mini letters to open at specific times. Little notes just on a post-it letting them know you hope they have a great day, how much they mean to you, or something you love about them can turn their whole day around. It doesn't have to be a long love letter but just a small note of love and encouragement!

- THREE -

GIVE THEM A DIY GIFT

You don't want to spend much money and want it to be heartfelt so make them something special! I'm not talking a hand turkey like you made your mom in kindergarten but something they will actually use. A great idea for this is a scrub for your lips, body, hands, feet. You can find many recipes for DIY body scrubs on Pinterest along with other ideas. For most scrubs, you most likely have a majority of the ingredients in your home already.

Sometimes just a nice hug or extra "I love you" can go along way. The most important thing about friendship is being there for your friend.

xx,

Taylor
