If you hate romance or don't want to feel all warm inside then 100% do not read this blog post!!! Over the past week I have asked people I know of all ages to tell me about a moment, memory, or feeling they had of when they knew that they either loved their significant other or knew that person was the one for them. I think this is my favorite blog post I have ever written! What can I say; I'm a hopeless romantic and have watched a majority of the RomComs on Netflix! I loved reading each and everyone of these; how one moment or over a few someones life changed just by one person. Some of them are a bit longer but definitely worth the read!
I would like to say a MAJOR thank you to the people who contributed to this blog post. Each of these made my insides warm and I hope to spread the love by sharing them so thank you for letting me share your story! There are no names attached, only gender, age, and relationship status. Maybe you can guess a few of who they are! I hope people enjoy reading these as much as I did! Happy Valentines Day!

"I knew almost right away. She came to one of my softball games for the first time and on the drive back made a comment on how slow I was driving. I told her that I was only driving slower so I could spend more time with her, which was true. I didn't tell her I loved her until later that summer when we went to a Poison concert at Riverbend while 'Every Rose Has its Thorn' was playing." -Male, age 37, married
"After almost 30 years of marriage life's offered several moments to define our relationship. We met in our late 20's where so many things were behind us (college life, first job, first home). I was fortunate to have met all the wrong guys for years so I very much knew what I wanted in a husband. We were neighbors that became friends that fell in love. After we had met we saw each other everyday! Talking was so natural and topics were wide ranged. It was all very effortless. The next step was natural, I knew he was the one. He proposed after 8 months and we were married 8 months later. I couldn't imagine finding anyone more perfectly suited for me!" -Female, age 58, married
"We were in my room and hanging out and kissing. He had already told me he loved me a while ago but I hadn't said it back. It was then that I had some kind of urge inside me that wanted me to tell him. I knew then how I felt about him but still didn't say it because I was too scared!" -Female, age 20
"I knew I loved him when I agreed to go to a Bengals vs. Raiders football game with him and it was FREEZING!! I had just come back from California and the cold was unbearable. I knew I'd only go with him and no one else! ... And I think the key to a great marriage is friendship." -Female, married
"Six billion people in the world, six billion souls. And sometimes... all you need is one."
One Tree Hill
"For me I started to realize I loved her when she became someone who would prop me up when the world around me was falling apart, someone who if I was apart from for too long I would feel as if I was dying. When she would just speak my name it would make me weak in my knees. I knew I loved her when I started to notice how she was redefining what I previously thought love was. She taught me what it meant to be with someone, be a team, love another person. The thing that really amazes me even now is how I learn a little more from her everyday. That's when I knew." -Male, age 22
"I knew on my first date with him! It felt like we had known each other forever! I called my mom after and told her to start saving for our wedding because I'm marrying this guy. She told me I was crazy! I guess I wasn't so crazy, huh?" -Female, age 28, married
"The moment I met her." -Male, age 47, married
"We started dating our junior year of high school. And I can honestly say I just have always loved him. One of the times that sticks out for me. It's when I showed up at his door and I had to tell him I was pregnant. I was 17 years old and I was scared to death. I knew he loved me and we had been together for over a year at this point. But we were so young. I was scared of what our parents were going to say. What was going to happen to our college plans. Just plain scared that I was about to turn his life upside down. He came to the door and I froze. I couldn’t speak a word. But the look on my face and the tears coming down gave it all away. He wrapped his arms around me and said he promises to take care of us forever. I remember he put his hand on my stomach and said us we are going to have a great future with our child. I had always loved him and In that very moment I truly knew I was more in love with him than ever. For that moment he took away my fears that I had. Even still today the way he loves our family makes me love him more. We were 17 and 18 at the time. We have been married 19 years and together for 25. " -Female, age 41, married
Jack "This is crazy."
Rose "I know. It doesn't make any sense. That's why I trust it."

"One morning after a night out in college, my now husband texted me and told me he thought I was cute, I was honestly mortified because until then I only saw him as a friend. As time went on, I began to see his heart and started to fall for him. At the end of 2009, we went on a trip to New Orleans with a group of friends for the Sugar Bowl. It was on that trip that I realized he was right for me. We actually snuck away from the group on New Years Eve and while we watched the fireworks at midnight we talked about our future together. After that the rest is history." -Female, age 29, married
"I was definitely attracted to her after seeing her for the first time, but I knew I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life after feeling the chemistry and realizing we thought about the world similarly." -Male, age 36, married
"I knew from the moment I met Curtis that he was a special guy, and it didn’t take long after we started dating for me to fall head over heels in love with him. After Curtis and I had been dating for a few years, my grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She’d ask Curtis multiple times what his name was. Curtis was so patient with her and always made sure to sit down and talk to my grandma when he’d come over. He would ask her about her favorite childhood memories and he wouldn’t bat an eye when he’d be asked the same question every 5 minutes. His kindness towards my grandma and my family is what really made me fall for him. I never thought I’d find the person I’ll be with the rest of my life at only 22 years old, but once you know it’s hard to wait." - Female, age 22, engaged
"You had me at hello"
Jerry Maguire
"I wouldn't say there was one moment, rather many moments. It started when we were just friends, with a phone call to check up on me, when I was sick. It continued with mixed cds, concerts, persistence and whole lot of summertime heat. But really I guess I knew he was the one when we coined a team name and slogan during a winning game of beer pong, even etching it into the pong table. 'Don't tangle with team mangle' (Keep in mind this was before ship names were a thing) We were Team MAngLe. If fit so nicely we knew we'd be teammates for life." -Female, age 33, married
"It is not just love but faith! I was in my Senior year of College.
I had broken off my engagement of 2 years in early December; I knew it wasn’t right for me. My college roommate became quite annoyed because I really didn't want to go out, cruise bars or do social events. She sat me down to give me "the talk". "Just what are you looking for?", "I have yet to see a knight in shining white armor", "You can't just sit here." I was rather annoyed! I told her that I was praying for direction and that when God thought I was ready, HE would deliver him to my front door! She rolled her eyes and gave up. Spring Break came and I offered a girl who was also student teaching near my parents’ house to stay with me since my parents were vacationing. She said that she had left a note on her door hoping one of the boys she had met would call her during break. I had a dream that night that pointed out this guy as "mine". I laughed at my active imagination! So the next day, "Mary" got a call from a guy... she invited the 2 of them to come for the dinner I was making! When the doorbell rang, I went to open it. It was as if I knew the guy standing there...he had the same look on his face! It was "Doug". He came every night after...6 weeks later we were engaged and 1 year later we were married. I was 22 and he was 23. We celebrate 40 years this March 2nd of the day God delivered my soulmate to my front door! " -Female, age 61, married
“It’s like in that moment the whole universe existed just to bring us together.”

"We dated for four years after meeting in Covington, Kentucky at The Pleasure Bar. He sent a drink over to me even though I had never met him. Shortly after we met I would sit in the kitchen with my father drinking coffee before work and would feel butterflies in my stomach thinking about him. Something I never felt with any other beau.
After going to the movies in downtown Cincinnati and walking to the bus across 5th Avenue, he asked me to marry him. I said yes." - Female, age 92, married
"Ok well my moment was a moment of wow! My relationship started out that I was just hanging out with someone that I really enjoyed spending my time with. It started just as "Let's hang out tonight" then I begun only wanting to hang out with her. That's when I realized that i wanted her in my life everyday or my days weren't as good as they should/could be. I fell in love with my friend and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her!" -Male, age 55, married
"I didn't know exactly what he would mean to me but the moment when I was introduced to him I had the strongest feeling that I knew he had to be someone important in my life. Due to the circumstances of how we were meeting and the relationship I was in, I assumed just good friends. It took me months to realize that the feeling wasn't about being friends and wasn't going away. We were just kids and still are in some aspects but five years later and that's the only time I have ever been so sure about something in my life. I guess I knew in that very first moment he was my person." -Female, age 20
